and South Precincts of this Parish held the 12th. Day
of December. 1745 .

Mr. Church Warden Hunter Acquainted
the Gentlemen present that the End of this Meeting was to
choose Ward Officers for the Year ensuing Vizt. Constables
Scavengers and Inquestmen.

Mr Geo: Maynard putt
upto Serve the Office of
Constable Scavenger &
Inquestman, But desired
to be Excused from
Serving the sd. Offices by
Reason the Lease of his
House wod. Expire at
Lady Day next but in
Case he shod. renew his
Lease or Continue in his
House he wod. then readily
pay the Usual Fine of £12
to be Exempted from
Serving the sd. Offices
without further Notice

And Mr. George Maynard< no role > being first in Nomination
was putt up to Serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger
and Inquestman for the Year ensuing, But Mr.
Maynard being heard in his place desired to be now
Excused from Serving the said Offices by Reason the
Lease of his House would Expire at Lady Day next, But
in Case he should renew his Lease or Agree with his
Landlord to continue in his House he would then readily
pay the usual Fine of £12. to be Exempted from serving
the said Offices without further Notice or being called upon
And Mr. Maynards Request being taken into Consideration
