Burt for the further choice of a Ward officer in the
Room of Mr George Wingfield< no role > This name instance is in set 1494. who desired to fine
for the said Office

from Ward offices on paying
his fine

And thereupon it was putt to the Vote, whether the
said Mr Wingfield< no role > should be excused from the Office of
Constable Scavenger and Inquestman upon paying the
usuall Fine of £12 And he was excused accordingly

Mr Tho: Witherby chose in
his Room

Then Mr Thomas Witherby< no role > and Mr John
Clark were putt up for Constable Scavenger and
Inquestman in the Room of Mr Wingfield and Mr
Witherby was chose.
