This Vestry was sumoned by Mr: Francis Lee< no role > upper Churchwarden
att the request of Sr: Robert Jeffery< no role > to consider of granting of further
term of yeares in his prsent Lease it being put to the vote
whether a genrall vestry should be called itt was Agreed that a
vestry should bee called on friday next att 6 of the clocke in
the afternoone

This Vestry was sumoned by Mr: Francis Lee< no role > upper Churchwarden
att ye Request of Sr. Robert Geffery< no role > who Acquainted the vestry about a
Lease granted to him formerly & desired a Lease for a further terme
and alsoe if the Parish had A mind to dispose of the Prmisses Leased he
would give as much as any person; & to be Referred to Two men, and
if they could not agree to refer it to a third: auditt being put to the Vote
itt was carried unanimusly in the Affirmative the matter to be reffered to
Mr. Midgley and Mr: west and if they two could not agree to bee left to a
third person to be nominated by them;

In Pursuance of the within menconed Referrence wee whose names are
subscrubed have viewed the Houses within menconed in Lease to the within
named Sr. Robert Geffery< no role > of which their was Two & Thirty yeares to come
Att Christmas last And have considered what itt may be worth in money to
make upp the said Lease Three score & one yeares and are of opinion itt is
One hundred pounds But in regard itt may (as wee conceive) be some
benifitt to the poore of the said Parish we doe Advise him to give One
hundred & fifty pounds Witnes our hands the ninth day of June 1697.

Mr. Acreman att ye: same time requested the Vestry to have leave to
digga caller undr: his house, the Compass of ye. Shop, and being put
to the Vote, it was granted, and upon a View it was agreed
that Mr. Acreman should make a Small Roome even
