Memorandum it is this 2d. day of Octr. 1759 Agreed Between the Master
andWardens & Comonalty of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters London of the One
part and Henry Howard< no role > of Hog Lane Blacksmith of the other part in names following
(that is to say) the said Company do hereby Agree to Lett to the said Henry Howard< no role > by Lease All
that Messuage or Tenemt. and prmises with the Appurts there to belonging Situate in Hog
Lane & Late in the Possion of Richard Bewick< no role > To hold to the sd. Henry Howard< no role > his
Extors Admors and Asss. from Xtmas next for Seven Years at the Yearly Rent of Sixteen
Pounds payable Quarterly free from all taxes Rates & Assessmt. What so ever (the Land Tax
Excepted) with such Usual Covts. as are Inserted in the Compa. Leases And the said Compa.
Agree to do the following Repair Vizt. To mend the Tiling, Windows, Lead Pipes, and
Plaistering And the said Henry Howard< no role > doth here by Agree to take a Lease of the sd.
Messuage & Tntmes of the said Company Upon the Terms of sd. And to Execute a
Counter part of such Lease to the Company when the Same shall be tendered & will
pay the said Rent of Sixteen Pounds And the said Henry Howard< no role > to Confirm the
above Agreement hath paid to Mr. Warden Bosley One Pound & One Shilling in part
of the first Quarters Rent Witness his halld the Day and Year above mentioned
