Memorandum it is this 8th. day of February 1749 Agreed between the
Worshipfull Company of Carpenters London of the One part And Humphrey Barke< no role >
of the parish of Saint Andrews Wardrobe London Gent . of the other part the said
Company - doth hereby Agree to Lett unto the said Humphrey Barke< no role >
All that their Messuage or Tenement No. 2. in Carpenters Buildings late in the
Occupation of Thomas Kenneday< no role > at the Yearly Rent of- Sixteen Pounds
payable quarterly to Comence from Ladyday next Ensueing the date hereof for
the Term of Three Yeares [..] Certain from that time And the said
Humphrey Barke< no role > -doth hereby Agree with the said Company to take the said
Premisses at Ladyday next upon the Terms abovementioned And as a Confirmation of
the same now paid Mr Hugh Denning< no role > the Renter Warden One Shilling in part of
the first quarters Rent that shall grow due Wittness his hand the day & year above written
