The Apothecary having represented to the
Committee that the Sum paid to the Matron
for the Diet of the Sick Prisoners was in
consequence of the present high Price of
Provisions, insufficient, and the Committee
taking into Consideration that the said
allowance has not been advanced for more
than 16 Years.
Resolved that it be recommended
to the House Committee, that instead of One
Shilling per day she be allowed One Shillg.

very difficult to procure the means for
working the Drug Mill, erected in the
Prison as Originally expected, & that it
cannot be rendered Serviceable without
