Reference ConsideredThe Committee met to take into consideration the following Reference from the General Court of the 8th.
May last but it being the Anniversary meeting of the charity children at St. Pauls many of
the Members were absent and the Committee adjourned to this day fortnight.
The Reference."To consider whether and by what means the Estates and
"revenues of the Hospital of Bridewell
can be appropriated
"with greater effect than at present to the benefit of
"the poor objects thereof and to report their opinion thereon
"to this Court together with the estimates of the probable expence
"of such improvements as they may recommend./"
