Mr Fisher the Vestry Clerk acquainted the Vestry that
he had received from Jeremiah Bentham< no role > This name instance is in set 2192. Esqr . Register
for the Trust of Sr. John Cass< no role > 's Charity and one of the Trustees
thereof a Certificate Settingforth that the Trustees of the
said Charity had at a Board or Meeting held at the School
House in Aldgate Church Row London on Thursday the
16th. day of this Instant November unanimously
nominated Mr William Andrews< no role > and Mr William Pease< no role >
for the two Persons to be presented and recommended by
them the said Trustees to the Vestry of the said Freedom
Part for one of such two Persons to be chosen and
appointed by the said Vestry School Master for teaching and
instructing the Boys belonging to the said Charity in Reading
Writing and Arithmetic and also the Girls upon the
Foundation of the said Charity to write and last
Accompts in the room of Mr Benjamin Bishop< no role > the late
School master deceased And that the said Trustees
did desire that the Churchwardens of the said Freedom
Part of the said Parish would forthwith cause a
Vestry to be holden in order to receive from the said
Trustees of the said Charity this Presentment and
recommendation as aforesaid and at the same time to
proceed to the choice of a Master in consequence
thereof which said Certificate and a Copy of the Will of the
said Sir John Cass< no role > 's Will so far as relates to the said
choice were read to this Vestry - Whereupon
