on the Ground and Premises in Cock & Hoop yard late in the possession
of Mr. Lopez A Motion was made and the Question put whether a
Work house should be built according to the said Plan and upon holding
up of Hands the same was carried in the Negative

Then a Motion was made and the Question put whether
one Wing only of a Workhouse should be built on the said Ground
and Premises and upon holding up of hands the same was
carried by a great majority and Ordered accordingly

Ordered that the Charge of building the said Wing be
raised by granting Annuities for Lives

At a Vestry held in the Vestry Room in the Church
on Monday the 13th. day of July 1767

Read & Confirmed the Minutes & Proceedings of the last Vestry

The follg respectable Inhabitants of this Parish were put
in nomination for the appointment and choice of five of them
to be Guardians of the Parish poor Children pursuant to the
directions of an Act of Parliament made & passed in the 7th. year
