At a Meeting of the Inhabitants who pay to the
Poor of the Freedom part of this Parish on Wednesday the 24th: of November
1742 at the School Room near the Tabernacle to consider of Ways to
raise mony for Discharging the Parish Debts and other Bussiness
pursuant to Publick Notice given in the Tabernacle last Sunday for
that Purpose the whole Inhabitants who pay to the poor being Summoned

Read the Minutes of the General Vestry held on the 3d. of
February 1741 and the Minutes of a General Vestry held on the 22d: of June
1742. relating to ways and means for raising mony for paying of the
Parish Debts and Appropriating the Parish Inumes as a Security
for raising the mony And also the Minutes of a Vestry held on Friday
the 12th: and of another on Friday the 19th: of November Instant

A Motion was made for Impowering the
Churchwardens to raise a Sum of One Thousand Pounds for the
above Purposes instead of the Seven Hundred Pounds ordered
by the Vestry of the 3d: of February 1741. which upon the Question put
was carried in the Affirmative
