At a Vestry held for the Parish of Saint Botolph without
Aldgate in the County of Middlesex the Twenty Eighth day
of October 1767 at the Quest house of the Said Parish

Presentofficers

Resolved and ordered by the Vestry That the said Mr Fox
do act as Principal Overseer of the Poor for the Remainder
of the Present year in the room & place of Mr Samuel Mason< no role >
deced late Churchwarden and Overseer of the Poor of this Parish
in the same Manner as the said Mr Mason might have done in
Case he had Continued in office during the Remainder of the
year And that the other Three overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish do pay to the said Mr Fox all such monies as they
Shall respectively Collect as Overseers as aforesaid during their
Continuance in office for the Use and benefit of the same Poor

And it is farther ordered That the said Mr Masons accounts
as late overseers as aforesaid be forthwith audited to wit from
the time of his Entring upon his said office to the Time of his
Death.
