Estimate of the Expence of Erecting & Dwarf Wall with Iron
Pallisades thereon And Iron Gates to lead to the Entrance of the
Church in the place of the Shops lately pulled down, Having
taken the said Matters into Consideration caused proper
Advertisements to be several times incerted in the Daily Advertiser
for the purposes aforesaid In Consequence Whereof are have
received the Sevral Proposals hereafter mentioned for Erecting
proper and Sufficient Scaffolding for taking down the said Fane
and for continuing such Scaffolding untill another the Fane shall
be fixed up in the place thereof and then to be cleared away by and
at the Expence of the Proposers (Viz).

Messrs. George Colebatch< no role > and Thomas Shirley< no role > propose to erect such
Scattolding or the before mentioned Terms for the Sum of £70 and
to give Sufficient Security to the Parish for performing the Work and
making good all Damage which may happen to the Church Steeple
or Spire or otherwise to the Parish on Account of such Scaffolding

John Lawrence< no role > proposes to Erect such Scaffolding as before mentioned
for the Sum of £31:10s. But he not being a Housekeeper and being
but little known in London, cannot give such Security as aforesd. And

Mr. Charles Rogers< no role > proposes to erect such Scaffolding for the
Sum of £45 and to give Such Security for performing the Work
and making good all Damage as before mentioned

But We have not been able to procure a particular of the Expence
of a new Fane tho' we have applyed for the same but have been
informed by Mr. William Eastwood< no role > a Workman in that Way that the
Expence thereof will not exceed £20 and probably may be considerably
less, the maker having the Copper of the Old Fane to himself

And We further Report that Sundry Proposals and Plans
touching a Dwarf Wall Iron Gates and Pallisades have been laid
