to public Notice given last Sunday in the Church.

Mr.Ewer at this Vestry on behalf of Mrs. Sarah Parsons< no role > the
Widow and Relief of the late Alderman Parsons produced a &
Faculty obtained by the said Alderman in his life time for a Pew in the
Gallery of the Old Church for himself and his Family and now by
virtue thereof on her behalf demanded a Pew in the present new
Church Whereupon this Vestry took the same into Consideration and
are unanimously of Opinion that the said Faculty is now either void or ceased

Re [..] Agreed and Ordered Nem con: That the present Churchwardens be
and they are hereby desired authorized and impowered to prosecute in
an effectual manner all such Persons as have refused to pay the
several [..] of money respectively assessed upon them by the
Church Rate lately made by this Parish for defraying the Expence
of doing the several works & things appointed & ordered to be done at
a former Vestry or Vestries of this Parish in such manner as shall be
thought most adviseable and also That the said Churchwardens be
impowered to excuse such Persons paying to the said Rate who in
respect of their Poverty are unable to pay what they are rated therein
and this Vestry doth now Resolveto indempnifythat the said Churchwar-
dens shall be indemnified at the Expence of this Parish from ally loss cost and [..] expence which they or any or either of
them may sustain or be put unto for or on Account of or by
reason or means of their or any or either of the Acting in the
