[..] meeting of the Inhabitants of the parish of St Buttolph [..]
[..] end and held by the said parish in the Vestry Room on the Satturday the 27th
of May 1710
Mr. Alderman Andrew reported that a faculty was obteyned for ye
building upon the Parish ground purchased of Mr: Brewster the Impropr in
and that a Vault was intended to be made for the buriel of the Dead
The Question was put that if Collonel. Cass at his own cost and charges be
minded to build such Vault under the Watch house Cole house and Engine
house part of the said Ground whether the proffits that may arise there by
to the said parish shal be appropriated to such Charity as the Collonel shal
think fit And it was carried in the Affirmative.
Ordered that the four Churchwardns-doe wait upon Collonel Cass
to acquaint him with the same.
Ordered and agreed that Collonel Cass be permitted to take down the
old Peers Leading from the South Passage into the Church for the more
Conveniency of his Intended building.
The Question was put that in case the Freedom part of the said
Parish shal think fit at their own cost and charges to make any
Alteracon of the Vestry Room whether they shal be permitted to
doe the same. And it was carried in the Affirmative
