Catherine Tonge< no role > the wife of Richard
Tonge
< no role > maketh oath that her Sd husband is now absent
from her in Places to her unknown That about two
Years & half ago her Sd husband lived in & rented a house
of the Yearly rent of Twelve Guineas in Red mans Row
in the Hamlet of Mile End old Town in the Parish
of St Dunstan Stepney in the Sd County & resided
thereon for about eighteen Months That her Said
husband has not Since rented a house of the Yearly rent
or Value of Ten Pounds or upwards or Served any
Parish office or Paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes
or done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement Save
that her Sd husband & herself for the benefit of her
Childrens health in May last went & resided upon
a house at Ilford in Barking Parish in Essex and
Continued thereon for about the Space of two Months
but was not to Pay any Rent or Taxes for the
Same in as much as Such house was & is the Sole
Property of her Brother Charles Peter Duffey< no role >
untill he Shall attain his Age of twenty one
Years and that then one fourth Part thereof will become
the Property of this Deponents Sd husband in the
right of her this Depont. The which house in this
Deponts Judgment were it Put into Tenantable repair would
not Self for more than One hundred Pounds And
this Depont is advised & believes that Such Residence
