true that her late Father Thomas Smith< no role > deceased
heretofore was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the
Year at Certain Wages by & with one Mrs Cook in
Hummerton in the Parish of St John Hackney in
the Said County and Continued in Such Service under
Such hiring for many Years That he did not afterwards
live as a hired Servant for a year elsewhere or rent a
house of the Yearly rent or Value of Ten Pounds or
Serve any Parish office or Pay any Poors Rates or
Kings Taxes or do any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement That She this Deponent was never
bound an Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired Servant
for a year nor was ever Married nor ever
did any Act to gain a Settlement for herself
