years ago he rented a house of Fifteen pounds a year in Little
wellbank Street in the Parish of Saint Mary Le Bone in
the Said County & lived in the Same for the Space of Seven Years
& by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there That he has
not Since rented a house of Ten pounds a year or upwards or
Served any Parish office or paid any Poors Rates or Kings
Taxes or done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement

knows a Child named Hannah Candelow< no role > aged about
Eleven Years who as this Deponent has been informed & believes
was born in the Parish of Saint John Wapping in the Said
County and is as this Deponent has also been informed & believes
a Bastard & illegitimate the Mother of the Said Child having
never been Married as she informed this Deponent & this
Deponent Can give no other Account respecting the said
Childs Settlement
