maketh oath that her Said husband is now Absent from her
& is lately gone on a voyage to Philadelphia That about
fourteen years ago her Sd husband took & rented a house known
by the Sign of the Ship in the parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate in the Sd County at they Carly rent of Sixteen Guincas and
hired there in for about the Space of Seven years & three months
& by means there of gained a legal Settlement there That he
he has not Since rented a house of Ten pounds a year or
upwards or Served any parish office or paid any Poors Rates or
kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
That She hath a Child named John < no role > Aged about eleven years
the lawful issue of this Depont by her Sd husband to whom
She was lawfully married

that She has been informed by her pate Fathr George Lambert< no role >
deced & which She believes to be true That he was bound to
Served his Apprenticeship with his Father George Lambert< no role > also
deced in the parish of Alarden in the County of Rent & by means
there of gained a legal Settlement there & did not afterwards do any
Act to gain another Settlement That She this Depont never was
bound Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired Servant in any one
place for a year nor was ever Married nor ever did any Act
to gain a Settlement in her own right That She hath a Child
named Thomas Wilson< no role > Aged about Twenty Months born of her
Body in Crown Court in the parish of St. Botolph witht Aldgate in
the Sd County of Middlesex & is a Bastard & that one Thomas
Wilson
< no role > late of the Same parish Mariner is the Father of the Said
Child.
