hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year at Certain Wages
by & with one Mr Locklin in Great Hermitage Street in the
Parish of St. George in the sd County Brewer & Continued
in Such Service for three years & half & by means thereof
gained a legal Settlement there That She this Deponent has
not Since lived as a hired Servant for a year elsewhere nor was
ever married nor hath She done any Act to gain anr Settlement
That She hath a male Child born of her Body in Brewhouse yard in
the parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the Sd County
Aged Six Weeks but has not yet been baptised & that one James
Hashing< no role > late of Tulbot Court Little East Cheap London but now
Supposed to be resident in Barbadoes is the Father of the
Said Child which is illegitimate She this Deponent never
having been Married

that She was duly bound to & Served two years of her Apprenticeship
with John Marchant< no role > a Hatter in the precinct of St. Catherine
in the Sd County & then this Deponent was Assigned & turned
over to one Frances Cranaway< no role > a washer woman of king
Henry yard in the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in
the Sd County with Whom She Served the Remainder of her Said
Apprenticeship & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there
That She has not Since hired as a hired Servant for a year nor
was She ever Married nor hath She done any Act to gain Another
Settlement.
