deced Maketh oath That divers years ago her sd husband rented a house
in Angel Court in the parish of St Botolph without Aldgat e in
the said County & was Charged to & paid Kings Taxes for the
same & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there That
he did not afterwards do any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlemt
That She was married to her Sd late husband at the Fleet about
Thirty two years ago That She has not been Since married
nor done any Act Since her Sd husbands death to gain a
Settlement in her own right

Ann Harwood< no role > Singlewoman maketh oath that
She was born at Hamborough beyond Sea & many years ago
Came from thence & Landed in the parish of Saint Mary Rotherhith
in the County of Surry where She then lodged & resided for about
the Space of three months That about fourteen years ago She
was admitted into the Workhouse of the said parish & provided
for there as one of their Poor & Where She Continued as Such
for the Space of Four years That She has Several times Since had
relief from the respecive Overseers of the Poor of the sd. parish
as being one of their poor & Settled with them & So late as in the Month
of June last That She this Deponent being in a Necessitous
Condition did in the Course of the last week apply to the present
Overseers of the Poor of the Said parish Where She then lodged for
relief & was refused to be relieved by them & bid to go about her
Business That She this Depont. Since her Coming to England as aforesd
was never married nor ever lived as a hired Servant for a year nor
ever did any Act to gain a Settlemt. in England Save What She has
Acquired by her residence therein

born in Liquor Pond Street in the Liberty above the Bars
in the parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the Said County
That he was never bound Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired
Servant for a year nor ever rented a house of Ten pounds a
year nor ever Served any parish office or ever paid any
Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did any Act to gain
a Settlement in his own right And this Deponent Cannot
Set forth Where his Parents or either of them was or
were Settled at the time of their respective deaths That he
hath a Child named Elizabeth < no role > Aged about ten years the
lawful Issue of this Deponent by his late Wife deced who
hath done no Act to gain a Settlement for herself and that
he this [..] Deponent is obliged to go in Stantly or board
his Majesties Ship Rameties
