Elizabeth Dye< no role > the wife of James Dye< no role > maketh
oath that divers years ago her Said husband rented a house in Upper
East Smithfield in the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the
County of Middlesex of the yearly Rent of Ten Pounds & was Charged
to & paid Kings Taxes for the same & by means thereof gained a
legal Settlement there That her Said husband has not since rented a
house of the Yearly Rent or Value of Ten Pounds or Served any Parish
office or Paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to
gain a Subsequent Settlement That she this Deponent hath three
Children namely Sarah < no role > aged about five Years Elizabeth < no role > Aged near
Three Years & Ann < no role > Aged about Six Weeks the lawful Issue of this
Deponent by her Said husband to whom she was lawfully married
& that her Said husband is lately gone as a soldier to America
