Severally make oath and first the Said Deponent London for
herself Saith That many Years ago She this Deponent & one
William Atkinson< no role > deced & previous to this Deponents marriage
with her Said late husband Jonathan London< no role > Cohabited & lived
together as Husband & Wife although in truth & in Fact no Marriage
of Ceremony of a marriage was ever had or Solemnised between
this Deponent & the Said William Atkinson< no role > That during such Cohabitation
She this Deponent was delivered of the Said other Deponent
Elizabeth Atkinson< no role > in Three Pidgeon Court in Houndsditch in the
Parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the City of London
That the Said William Atkinson< no role > was the Father of the Said Depont
Elizabeth Atkinson< no role > who by reason of this Deponts never having been
married to him she the Sd Depont Atkinson is a Bastard illegitimate
And the Said Deponent Elizabeth Atkinson< no role > for herself Saith
That she was never married nor ever was bound Apprentice nor
ever lived as a hired servant for a year nor ever rented a house of
Ten Pounds a Year or ever paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes
nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlement for herself

Forty Six Years ago he was duly bound Apprentice by Indre
to one Daniel Forrester< no role > of Upper East Smithfield in the Parish
of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the County of Middlesex
Cordwainer & Served about three Years of Such Apprenticeship
& then his Master died there & then this Deponent left the Sd
Parish & afterwards went into the Sea Service That he has not
Since rented a house of Ten Pounds a year or upwards or Served
any Parish office or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or
done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement Since his Said
Apprenticeship
