Abigail Wood< no role > Singlewoman maketh oath That
divers Years ago she was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year at Certain
Yearly Wages by & with one Mr Phipps a Stationr in theParish Liberty of
Norton Folgate in the County of Middlesex & Continued in Such
Service for the Space of Three Years & by means thereof gained
a legal Settlement there That she this Depont has not since lived
as a hired Servant for the Space of a year nor was ever married nor
hath She done any Act to gain a subsequent settlement That about
Five months ago she this Deponent was delivered of a Female
Bastard Child in the house of Mrs Harrison in Virgin Court in
Artichoak Lane in the Parish of Saint George in the County of
Middx which hath been since baptised & registred by the name of
Rebecca Holdbrook< no role > & that one Joshua Holdbrook< no role > now or late
of Meston in the County of Norfolk is the Father of the sd Child
