Thomas Goodwin< no role > maketh oath that divers years
ago he rented a house in the new walk in the Parish of Saint
John in Southwarke in the County of Surry and during his
Residence therein was Charged to and paid the Poors Rates
for the same and by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there
That he this Deponent hath not Since rented a house of the yearly
renter Value of Ten pounds nor paid any Poors Rates or Kings
Taxes or done any act to gain a Subsequent Settlement and
that he hath wife named Christian and< no role > Four Children namely
John aged< no role > about eleven years Elizabeth aged< no role > about Seven
years Deborah aged< no role > about Six years and Susanna aged< no role > about
four months the lawful Issue of this Deponent by his said wife
to whom he was lawfully married.
