Mary Cooke< no role > the Widow of Robert
Cooke
< no role > deced maketh oath That her late husband in his
life time rented a house of the Yearly Rent of Five Pounds
in Peters Court in the Parish of Saint Botolph without
Aldgate in the County of Middlesex and lived in Such
house for many Years And this Depont. Saith that her
Said husband has informed her (and which information
She believes to be true) That during Such his residence
in the Said house he was Charged to and Paid the
Kings Tax for the Same and by Means thereof as She is
advised he gained a legal Settlement there And that to
her Knowledge information or belief her Said husband
never did any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
nor hath She Since his Death done any Act to gain
a Settlement in her own right to her Knowledge or
belief
