Esther Ogier< no role > Singlewoman Maketh oath That in the
year one thousand Seven hundred and forty five she was
bound apprentice by Indre to Mary Holloway< no role > Patron Reader
then the wife of Isaac Holloway< no role > of the Hamlet of Bethnal
Green (but now called the Parish of St. Matthew Bethnal Green)
in the county of Middlesex Weaver for the Term of Four years
& served the whole of her said apprenticeship there, That at
the expiration of her said Apprenticeship (the said Isaac
Holloway
< no role > being then dead) she this Deponent was hired by
her said Mistress then a Widow ) and lived with her as a hired
servant by the year in the same place and Continued in
Such Service for a year at the yearly Wages of Eight Pounds
and by Means there of as she is advised gained a legal settlement
there and that she this Deponent hav not Since lived as a hired
Servant for a year nor was ever Married Nor to her knowledge
or belief hath she done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement
