deced maketh oath That her Said husband has informed her
That When a Singleman he was hired & lived as a hired servant
by the year at Certain Yearly Wages with one Captain Tunner
(Who then kept a Grocers shop at Queen Stairs) in the Parish
of St. Mary Rotherhithe in the County of Surry and that
Continued there in such service for two years and which
information this Depont. believes to be true and this Depont.
saith that to her Knowledge information or belief her Said
husband subsequent to such his servitude never Rented a
house of Ten Pounds a year or upwards. nor served any Parish
offices or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or lived as
a hired servant for a year or did any Act to gain a settlement
after his Said servitude and this Depont. farther. saith that
since her Said husbands Death She hath not rented a house of
Ten pounds a year or upwards or Paid any Poors Rates or
Kings Taxes or lived as a hired servant for a year or done
any Act to gain a settlement in her own right.
