Elizabeth Rickets< no role > the Wife of John Rickets< no role > Maketh
Oath That her said husband (who is lately gone away from her
to Places unknown to her) has informed her and which
Information She believes to be true That he the said John
Rickets
< no role > When a Singleman was hired and lived as a hired
Servant by the year at Certain yearly Wages with one Mr.
Hedges in the Parish of Saint Clement in the City of Oxford
Brewer And that he Continued in such Service for the Space
of four years That he also afterwards Rented a house in the
said Parish and was Charged to and Paid the Poors Rates for
the Same And by Means thereof as this Depont. is advised gained
a legal settlement there And this Depont. Saith that to her
knowledge informacon or belief her said husband hath not
since rented a house of the Yearly Value of Ten Pounds Nor
served any Parish offices or Paid any Poors Rates or Kings
Taxes or done any Act to gain a subsequent settlement And that
her said husband hath a Child named Mary< no role > aged about fourteen
years his lawful Issue by his late Wife deced who has done no
Act to the knowledge or belief of this Depont. to gain a settlemt
in her own right And that this Depont. hath also two Children
namely David< no role > aged about three years and John< no role > Aged about Eight
Months the lawful Issue of this Depont. by her said husband.
