County of Middlesex single woman taken on oath
before me Christopher Scott< no role > Esqr. one of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County
this Twenty Ninth Day of September in the
year of our Lord 1767 .

Who on her oath Saith That on the Twelfth Day of
august last Past in Swan Alley in the said Parish of
Saint Botolph without Aldgate She this Examinant was
delivered of a Female Bastard Child Which has since
been Baptized and registred by the name of Elizabeth
Martin
< no role > and is become Chargeable to the Said Parish
And this Examinant farther Saith That one George
Arnold
< no role > of the Parish of Allhallows Barking London
Gentlemen and a Clerk in his Majesties Navy office did
get her with Child of the said Bastard Child. And this
Examinant Saith that she is a single woman and was never
Married.
