Mary Pool< no role > Widow of Benjamin Poole< no role > deced
Maketh oath That divers Years ago her said late
husband rented a house Called the George Ale house
in the Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the
County of Middlesex and Paid above Ten Pounds
a year rent for the same and Continued therein for
above the Space of a year and by Means thereof
gained a legal there And this Deponent Saith
that her said husband did not afterwards rent
a house of Ten Pounds a year or upwards or serve
any Parish office or Pay any Poors Rates or
Kings Taxes or do any Act whereby to gain a
Subsequent settlement to her knowledge or belief
And this Deponent Saith that since her late husbands
death she hath not lived as a hired servant for the
Space of a year nor been Married Nor hath done
any Act whereby to gain a settlement in her
own right since her said husbands death to her
knowledge or belief
