The Examination of Jane Hilliard< no role > This name instance is in set 321755. Widow
Taken on oath before Me one of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the said County of Middx residing in or
Next to the Limits of the Parish Church of St Botolph
without Aldgate in the said County this fourteenth
day of December 1759

This Examinant on her oath saith that about fourteen
Months ago one William Gardiner< no role > who then lived in
Denmark Street in the Parish of St George in ye sd
County Shoemaker did Prevail with this Examinant
to suffer him to lye with her at the House of one
Mr Hall in the same Street and Parish Cooper and
had Carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body
whereby she Conceived with Child of a Female
Bastard Child [..] And this Examinant
farther saith that about four Months ago she this
Examinant having Occasion to go to Billings gate
in the Parish of St Mary At hill London to buy Fish
she then and there fell in Labour and the Beadle
of ye sd Parish of St Mary At hill immediately took
her into his Custody and Care and Carried her in a
Coach to Hogsdon Town House in the Parish of
St Leonard Shoreditch in ye sd County of Middx where she
this Examinant was delivered of the sd Female
Bastard Child which sd. Female Bastard Child
