The Examination of Elizabeth Stevenson< no role >
Singlewoman taken on oath before Me one
of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middx residing in or Near the Parish of
St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County
of Middx this twelfth day of October 1753

This Examinant on her oath Saith That about Seven
Months ago one Thomas Arnold< no role > late of Gravesend
in the County of Kent Shoemaker did prevail
with this Examinant to Suffer him to lye with her
at the dwelling house of Mrs. Vernon known
by the Sign of the Faulcon Situate in Old Fish
Street in the City of London Where this Deponent
then lived And the said Thomas Arnold< no role > had
Carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body and
so had Several times Whereby she Conceived
with Child or Children of which she Now
goeth and is Pregnant And this Examinant
Saith that the sd. Child or Children of Which
She now goeth with and is Pregnant as aforesd.
