Thomas Bulk< no role > maketh Oath that
about Twenty Eight years ago he was hired
as a Servant by the year with Mr. Munday
of Lower Eastsmithfield in the Parish of
St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County
of Middlesex Pewterer at the yearly
Wages of Twelve Pounds & continued in
his Service under such hiring for the space
of One year & Boarded and lodged in his
Masters house the whole of the said Term
that his Master wanted him to continue with
him another year at the like Wages, But
this Deponent would not consent to live
with him another Year unless he gave him
Thirteen Pounds, & therefore they parted, that
he has not Since he quitted his Service
lived as a hired Servant by the year in
any other Parish or Place for the Space of
One year together or Rented any House or
Lodging of the yearly Rent or Value of Ten
Pounds or paid any Poors Rate or Kings Tax
or done any Act to his knowledge or belief
to gain a Subsequent Settlement
