Middlesex ss.

Robert Tate< no role > maketh Oath that he is
a Native of Scotland & came from thence
about Eleven Years ago to England , with
his Sister Youfen Cargill< no role > the Widow of
John Cargill< no role > decd. Taylor , that when he
first came to England his said Sister Rented
a small House in the Green Yard in the Parish
of St. John Wapping in the County of Middlesex
& lived in the same about Four years, that
she removed from thence to a House No 42
in Lower Eastsmithfield in the Parish of St.
Botolph without Aldgate in the said County
where she lived about Two Years and then
removed to a House Little Burr Street
in the said Parish where she lived about
Four Years that his said Sister carried on
the Business of a Taylor , that he has lived
with her ever since he has been in England
& that when she lived at No 42 in Lower
Eastsmithfield aforesaid he entered into a
Contract as a Servant with her for the
space of Four Years at the Yearly Wages
of Four Pounds That she Provided him
with Board & Lodging during the said Term
& that the last two Years Service under such
Contract was in Little Burr Street aforesaid
