John Price< no role > Maketh Oath that about Ten
Years ago he was duly Bound Apprentice by
Indenture by the Church Wardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. John Horsley Down
in the County of Surry to Thomas Richards< no role >
of Dean Street in the Parish of St. Botolph
without Aldgate in the County of Middlesex Brass
Polisher that he served his said Master there
under the said Indenture about Two Years
when his said Master left him, and went to
Birmingham , that he was not turned over
by his said Master to any other Person to serve
the remainder of the Term then to come in
the said Indenture nor did he serve any
Person under the said Indenture with his
said Masters Consent that he has not since
his said Apprenticeship lived as a hired
Servant by the Year in any Parish or Place
for the space of One Year together or Rented
any House or Lodging of the Yearly Rent
or Value of Ten Pounds or paid any Poors
Rate or Kings Tax or Done any Act to
his knowledge or Belief to gain a
Subsequent Settlement
