Sarah Burls< no role > the Widow of Wm. Burls< no role >
Maketh Oath that she was lawfully Married
to her said late Husband at the Parish Church
of St. Luke Old Street in the County of Middlesex
on or about the Sixth Day of February 1779
that her said late Husband about Eleven
Years ago Rented a House of Sixteen Pound
a Year in Upper East Smithfield in the
Parish of St. Botolph without Aldgate in the
County of Middlesex and lived in the same
about One year and a half and was charged
to and paid Poors Rate for the same that her
said late Husband did not after he quitted
the said House, Rent any House or Lodging
of the yearly Rent or Value of Ten Pounds or
pay any Poors Rate or Kings Tax or do any
act to her knowledge or Belief to gain a
subsequent settlement, that her said Husband
died the Thirty First Day of March last & that
she has not done any Act to gain a Settlement
since his Death, that she has Two Children
the lawful Issue by her said late Husband
namely Sarah< no role > aged about Nine Years and
Mary< no role > aged about Three Years who have
not done any act to gain a Settlement for
themselves
