Continued, Wednesday July 31st. 1799 .

That the Committee had Ordered 500 Copies of the
Standing Rules and Orders of these Hospitals, to be
Printed, for the use of the Governors.

And had Ordered that the Premises in Bridewell
Precinct , late on Lease to Silas Palmer< no role > Esqre , should
be Advertized to be let at the Committee in October
next.

And had Resolved to accept the Surrender of a Lease
of Two Old Houses in Wapping held by Mr. Thomas
Bennett
< no role > , and that the same should be pulled down
and the Materials Sold, under the direction of the
Surveyor.

And had Ordered that King Edward Stairs at Wapping
should be Repaired, at an expence, not exceeding £20.

And had Resolved that the Treasurer be requested,
(with the assistance of the Clerk and Steward) to liquidate
and adjust the demand made upon the Hospital
by the Commissioners of Sewers, with respect to the
Paving Etc, of New Bridge Street.

And had Ordered different Payment to be made,
amounting to £229..18..10

The Minutes of the Prison Committee, of the following
days, were read, whereby it appeared;

Wednesday June 12th.

That the Committee had Ordered that the Prisoners
Committee under the Lottery Act should be in future
employed in the usual labour or employment of the
House.

Wednesday July 10th.

That the Committee had Resolved to recommend to
