At this Court a Resolution of the Court of Common
Councel was Read Whereby they Appoint Mr. John Wheeler< no role >
to be a Governor
of these Hospitals.
Till Mr. his Motion
Considered.
The Court then took into Consideration the Motion of
which Notice had been given by Mr. Till at the last
General Court and
Resolved Unanimously
Estates & Revenues.
That a Committee be appointed "to enquire and
"Report Whether and by what means the Estates and
"Revenues of the House of Bridewell can be
"Appropriated with greater Effect than at present
"to the benefit of its Original and proper Objects.
"Conformably to the Beneficent Intention of the
"Royal Founder and our Ancestors
That the Committee consist of 25 Governors 5 of
whom to be a Quorum to Transact Business.
