Pursuant to Notice given at the last Court
The following Motions were then made That the Committee of Bethlem be empowered to lay out.
the Sum of £1070 in the present year in the repairs of that Hospital.

Amendments in
Rules & orders
That the following amendment should be made to the 5th standing Rule and Order in Page 8
That after the words "Casual Business" the following words be inserted [All such Weekly
Sub Committees to be open to any Governor who may chuse to attend but that the whole
Number of 42 only be summoned on some other day of the Week for making contracts
Considering of and directing necessary repairs and alterations at Bethlow Hospital
not exceeding £200 in the whole and to see that such others be Properly done as the Court
may have ordered also for examining and Auditing quarterly Bills and other
extraordinary Business on which occasions the Committee not to be open]
That in Page 9 in the same rule after he Words "may have ordered" insert these words
[except those which are under the management of the Bethlem Committee]
And in the 13th standing rule and Order in page 12 after the words. "the House" insert these
words [and Bethlem Committee respectively be immediately summoned in order to deliberate
together or seperately as the case may require]
And at this Court the said Motions were severally agreed to and it was Ordered that they
should be further considered at the next Court
