In Pursuance of the general Rules and
Orders established for the Government of these
Hospitals on the 29th. May 1776 We do hereby
Certify that We have Audited the Accounts
of both Hospital for one Year from Christmas
1783 to Christmas 1784 and find

That there has been received for Rents
and Arrears of Rent on Account of
Bridewell Hospital as appears in folio
205 of Mr. Griffiths the Steward and
Receivers Cash Book the Sum of}

For Dividends on £3185 Past India
Annuities
141-1-6

And for Legacies and Benefactions225 - -
Making in the whole the Sum of4406 - 7 -


And that the several Sums of Money Paid
and Expended on Account of that Hospital
Amounts to the Sum of
4475-8-1


So that the Disbursments on Account of that
Hospital have been more than the receipt by the
Sum of
369-1-1

Which was Discharged out of the former Balance
that Remained in Mr. Treasurers hands.
