At this Court the Honble Philip Bouverie Pusey< no role > &
William Heberden< no role > M. D were unanimously Elected Governors
of these Hospitals And it is Ordered that Slaves be sent
them forthwith.

him for the faithful attention
to the Duties of his Office


Upon Reading a Recommendation from the
Committee of Bethlem Hospital Dated the 30th. Day of Octr. 1784
under the Hands of Henry Cranke< no role > Esqr . Auditor General, William
James
< no role > Esqr . Mr. Richd. Seaman< no role > Mr. Dy Henry Parker< no role > Mr. J. Hall
Mr. Jas. Palmer< no role > Mr. Richd. Till< no role > Mr. Saml. Swain< no role > Thos. Wellings< no role >
Esqr . Edwd. Reynolds< no role > Esqr . and James Hebert< no role > Esqr . in the words and
figures following Vizt. It is the unanimous Opinion of this
Committee that it be recommended to the general Court that a Gratuity
of Fifty Pounds be given to Mr. Henry White< no role > Steward of Bethlem
Hospital as a further Mark of the Governors Approbation of his
Conduct and a reward for his Diligence and faithful Attention to
the Duties of his Office and the Services rendered thereby to this
Charity All which is nevertheless submitted to the Judgment of
the Court and Ordered to be reported at the next Court This
Court having duly weighed and Considered the said Recommendation
doth Concur with the said Committee And it is Ordered that
Mr. Treasurer be desired to Pay the said Henry White< no role > £50.. to be
allowed him in his next Account.

Gozna John £20 given him
as a Gratuity for the diligent
discharge of his Duty
