Continued Thursday 25th. Novr. 1779.

Court and that Notice thereof be inserted in the Tickets for
such Court Whereupon and upon further debate of the
matter another Motion was made and seconded that the Court
doth agree with the Committee in their opinion and Recommendation.

Gratuity of £50 ordered
to be paid Mr. White Stewd.
of Bethlem

Whereupon and upon further debate another Motion was
made and seconded That the said first Question be not now put
and the Question being put it passed in the Negative Whereupon
and upon further debate the Question That the Court doth agree
with the Committee in their Opinion and recommendation being
put it passed in the Affirmative It is thereupon Ordered
that Mr. treasurer be desired to pay the said Mr. White £50..
to be allowed him in his next Account.

Upon Reading an Opinion and Recommendation
from the Committee of Bethlem Hospital bearing date the 17th.
day of July last under the Hands of Henry Cranke< no role > Esqr . Audr. Genl .
Mr. Deputy Robt. Harding< no role > James Hebert< no role > Esqr . William James< no role > Esqr .
Mr. Deputy Rogers and Dr. Monro in the Words and figures
following It is the Opinion of this Committee that it be
recommended to the General Court that in future all Jew
Prisoners Committed to Bridewell Hospital be exempt from
Labour on Saturdays being their Sabbath All which is
nevertheless Submitted to the Judgment of the Court this Court
having duly weighed and considered the said Opinion doth
agree with the said Committee therein and It is Ordered
accordingly.-

Mr. President Reported that John Hopkins< no role > late
of the Parish of Saint Mary le Strand in the County of
Middlesex Esqr . had by his Will bearing date the 22d. day-
of November 1771 Given to Bethlem Hospital one Thousand
Pounds Old South Sea three PCent Annuities and also
had given the further Sum of one Thousand Pounds of the
said Annuities (after the death of Mrs. Betty Bromwich< no role > ' his
Sister) to the same Hospital

Mr. President reported that Peter Hodgson< no role > late of
the Parish of Allhallows Staining London had by his Will
