Continued Friday 27th. November 1778.

It is Ordered that Mr. Richd. Crowther< no role > Mr. John Turner< no role >
and Mr. Thos. Berdmore< no role > or any two of them be desired to
Inquire if the said John Shaw< no role > be set up for himself in his
Trade and of his hopefulness therein and Report the same to the
Court.

Willings Mr Thomas< no role > This name instance is in a workspace.

At this Court Thomas Wellings< no role > of New Broad Street
Esqr . and Mr. William Gill< no role > of Abchurch Lane were Appointed
governors of these Hospitals by the Right Worshipful
Brackley Kennett< no role > Esqr Aldn President Pursuant to an
Order of Court of the 29th. Day of May 1775 And it is Ordered
that Staves be sent to the said Mr. Wellings & Mr. Gill forthwith.

Audr. Genl. to appoint
one Govr. Annually


A Motion being made and seconded That the
Auditor General of these Hospitals for the time being shall have
Liberty to Appoint one Governor annually and the Question
being put it passed in the Affirmative unanimously.

Mr. John Bacon< no role > of Newman Street being proposed by
Edward Reynolds< no role > Esqr . to be Elected a Governor of these Hospitals
It is Ordered that such Election shall be Determined by a
Majority of Votes at the next General Court and that Notice of
such intended Election be inserted in the Summonses for such
Court.
