General and Auditors of the Accounts Jointly with Mr. Thomas Elton< no role >
John Elliot< no role > Esqr . Francis Gulston< no role > Esqr . and Mr. Deputy Grafton and in
Pursuance of the general Rules and Orders lately Established for the better
Management of the Hospitals of Bridewell and Bethlem and the Revenues thereof
we have proceeded to examine the Accounts of these Hospitals for one Year from
Christmas 1774 to Christmas 1775 and have chequed the same with the
Vouchers and we find such Accounts to be Just and true and in going
through the said Accounts we have made some remarks and observations
which we take the liberty to lay before the Court for its Consideration.

And first with respect to Bethlem Hospital

We find that the Total of the Rent and Annuity
Rolls which are in the Collection of Mr Woodhouse &
Mr Rashfield amount to the Sum of}

That the Estate in Lincolnshire which is in
the Collection of Mr. Bourne amounts to the Sum of}

That there are in the Funds belonging to
Bethlem Hospital the following sums which produce

£125 has yet been paid and as the Legacies & Benefactions
are uncertain we can form no other Judgment of the Yearly
amot. but by averaging the last 7 Years which we find to be
