Roger Staples< no role > Esq . & Mr Willm. Jones< no role > two of the governors Reported That in
Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 25th. day of June last they had
made an Inquiry and found That Richard Arnett< no role > late Apprentice to
Willm. Cox< no role > is set up for himself in his Trade and has the Character of a
diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that the Steward do pay the said
Richard Arnett< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift to be allowed him in
his next Account.

That in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 25th. day of June last they had
made an Inquiry and found That Willm. Taubman< no role > late Apprentice to
John Packer< no role > is set up for himself in his Trade And has the Character of
a diligent & Sober Man It is Ordered that the Steward do pay the said
William Taubman< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift to be allowed him
in his next Account.

That in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 25th. day of June last they
had made an Inquiry and found that Saml. Pitchford< no role > late Apprentice
to Geo: Dell< no role > is set up for himself in his Trade and has the Character of
a diligent & Sober Man It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay the said
Saml. Pitchford Ten Pounds out of Mr. Fowkes Gift to be allowed him
in his next Account.

Grainger Saml< no role > the like


William Walter< no role > Esq . & Willm. Addington< no role > Esq . two of the governors
Reported That in Pursuance of an Order of the 25th. day of June
last they had made an Inquiry and found that Saml. Grainger< no role > late
Apprentice to John Packer< no role > is set up for himself in his Trade and
has the Character of a diligent & Sober Man It is Ordered
that the Clerk do pay the said Saml. Grainger Ten Pounds out of
Mr. Fowkes Gift to be allowed him in his next Account.

Hotine John< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. the like


Henry Cranke< no role > Esq . & Mr. Dep. Rogers two of the Govrs. Reported That
in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 25th. day of June last
they had made an Inquiry and found that John Hotine late
Apprentice to Willm. Grinsell< no role > is set up for himself in his Trade and
has the Character of a diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered
that the Clerk do pay the said John Hotine Ten Pounds out of
Mr. Fowkes Gift to be allowed him in his next Account.

Bowden Wm< no role > . Esqr
took his Charge


At this Court the Charge was Read to William Bowden< no role > Esqr
as Governor of these Hospitals who thereupon gave Fifty Pounds
for the Use of Bethlem Hospital which was paid to Mr treasurer
It is Ordered that the Thanks of this Court be given to the said
Mr Bowden for his Kind Donation which was done accordingly
