Continued Wednesday 16 Novr. 1763.

Robert Hardcastle< no role > at the Rent of 7lb P Annum clear of all Taxes payable Quarterly with
Liberty of Ingress Egress and Regress in by and thro' four Feet part of the said 6 Feet space
so reserved to the governors as aforesaid at the further Rent of 2s P Annum and 25
Guineas fine reserving Liberty to the governors to build over the said 4 Feet space
at the Height of Ten feet from the Surface of the Ground, the said Thomas Walpole< no role >
Executing a Counter part of the said Lease

That Your Petitioner hath lately purchased the said Thomas Walpoles< no role > Interest
and that the Court upon the Petition of the said Thomas Walpole< no role > Ordered a Lease
to be made to your Petitioner for the same Term granted to his late Neighbours
Godfrey Thornton< no role > and Samuel Handley< no role > , and Your Petitioner finding great
Inconveniency will arise for want of a Counting House and Warehouse detached
from the Dwelling House humbly proposes to Erect a large and Commodione
Counting House and Warehouse over it at the South End of the Premes and prays
that he may be at liberty to build (if it shall be found Convenient) on so much of
the passage as Joines to the End of his Yard which said Building will greatly
Improve the Estate

In Consideration of which and of the great Expence your Petitioner will be at
in Erecting Said Substantial Building Your Petitioner Humbly prays your
Worships will be pleased to Indulge him with such Additional Term of Years to
his present Lease as your Worships shall think Fitt It is Ordered that
the said Petition be referred to the Committee of this House to Consider thereof
and Report their Opinion thereon to the Court

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Catherine Cunnick< no role > Widow and
Administratrix of George Cunnick< no role > late of Abchurch Lane London Plumber deced
Setting forth "That at a Court Held at the Hospital of Bridewell on the 19th. Day of
December 1750 Your Worships were pleased to Order that a Lease should be made and granted
to Robert Hardcastle< no role > of John Street Golden Square Mason with usual Covenants of a peice of
Ground formerly in Lease to Isabella Finch< no role > ) Abutting North upon Bethlem Street To hold
from Lady day then next for 62 years at a Pepper Corn Rent for the First Two Years and
Twenty Five Pounds a Year clear of Taxes for the Residue of the said Term and under
certain other Conditions In the said Order Mentioned

That at another Court Held at the said Hospital of Bridewell on Friday the 25th
Day of May 1753 upon the Humble Petition of Samuel Mellor< no role > of the Parish of Saint
Botolph without Bishopgate London Carpenter and of the said Robert Hardcastle< no role >
It was Ordered that a Lease of part of the said Peice or parcell of Ground
Containing Twenty Feet Three Inches in front with usual Covenants should
