Upon Reading the Surveyors Estimate of Building Twelve New Cells
at bethlem Hospital amounting in the whole to the Sum of £204..7s..2d.
It is Ordered that such Cells be Built under the Direction of Mr. treasurer
and the Comittee of that House

a Proper Certifficate of her Settlement she should be admitted a Patient
into that Hospital But if not that she be immediately Discharged
this Hospital

as a Curable Patient in Bethlem Hospital
on the 1st. day of Augt. 1761
and
she being the Widow

late a Lieutenant
in an Independent
Company Commanded by General Popple at Burmudas
is Intilled to a
Pension of £20 P Ann out of his Majestys Bounty to the Widows of Officers
who have been killed or Died in his Service But the said
Jane Land< no role >
being
a Lunatick and therefore Incapable of Making the proper Affidt. for
Receiving Such Pension And Mr. treasurer
having Directed a proper
Representation to be made to the Secretary at War who having said the
same before his Majesty he was pleased (out of Compassion to her Distressed
Condition and in Order that her Pension Might be Received and Paid
towards her Maintenance and Support during her Lunacy and Confinemt.
in the said Hospital) to Empower the Receiver and Paymaster of the said
Bounty to Pay her Pension to Such Person as Mr. treasurer
shod. Nominate
or Appoint by Power of Attorney the Person so Empowered Producing a
Certifft. each time of Receiving Signed by the President treasurer

Physitian
Or any Two of them of her being alive and Continuing a Lunatick
in the said Hospital That in Pursuance of the above Power Mr treasurer
hath Appointed

Rules of the said Hospital the said Jane Land having Continued the
Usual Time for Curable Patients Must have been Discharged in which
Case the Certifficate abovementioned Could not be Obtained and she would
