The Petitions of the Candidate for the Place of Clerk in the
Room of Joseph Taylor< no role > Esqr . Deceased being read in Alphabetical
Order Vizt.. Mr. Joseph Eyre< no role > and Mr. Samuel John< no role > And at
12 o' Clock at Noon the Balloting begun and continued till 2 o'Clock
in the Afternoon, And then upon Dividing and Costing up the Ballots
the Numbers appeared to be as follows

For Mr. Joseph Eyre70.
Mr. Samuel John158.

Whereupon The Right Honble Sr. Richd. Glyn< no role > Knt .
Lord Mayor President Declared the said Mr. John duly Elected
Clerk of these Hospitals till the next Election dayAnd
It is Ordered that the said Mr. Samuel John< no role > be Elected Clerk of
these Hospitals AccordinglyAnd he being called in and Acquainted
therewith prayed loose to resign his Staff as a Governor which the
Court Accepted And Order'd his Name to be left out of the List
of Governors for the future.
