read as follows ViztThat the Petitioner has been a Freeman
of the City
of London
22 Years And has brought up Sevl. ApprenticesThat there
being a Vacancy of an Artsmaster in this Hospital in the room of
James
Farnsworth< no role >
who has resigned and the Petitioner being ready and willing
to take such a Number of Apprentices As the Court shall think fit And to
keep his Appartment in repair with flooring, Glaizing, Plaistering and
White washing at his own expence as is Usually done by the Artsmaster &
to Comply with all Orders of the Court and Comittee made and to be made in
Relation to ArtsmastersAnd praying to be Elected an Artsmaster in the
room of the said James FarnsworthWhereupon the question being put
the sd. Thomas Dunn was Unanimously Elected an Artsmaster
untill the next
Election dayAnd it is Orderd that upon his do liveing a Certificate of his Settlement
to the Clerk and produceing a Copy of his Freedom of this City he be Admitted upon
giving Security as has been usually done in the like Cases.
