up from the block having been Comitted by Mr. Trear to remain there till the Court
Pursuant to an Order of Court 13th. Novr. 1755 for Staying out 5 Nights from Wednesday
29th. Decr. 1756 to Monday 3d. Janry last which He AcknowledgedAnd therefore The
Court Order'd he shou'd be Corrected in the presence of the rest of the Apprentices
promiseing never to be guity of the like Offence and to Serve the rest of his time which
will be out in less than 13 Months Diligently & faithfully and to make up all his lost
time, And upon the request of his Master was Order'd home.

Upon Reading a Report from the Comittee of this House dated
the 19th. day of January 1767 under the hands of John Wallington< no role > Esqr. Trears

for Mr Saml. John< no role > & Mr. Deputy Richard Bridgman< no role > as follows VizIn
Pursuance of an Order of Court the 23d. of July last this Comittee took
into Cons. the Petition of William Barnes< no role > of Bride lane London Weaver for a Lease
of a House in Bridewell Precinct late in Occupation of John Edwin< no role > (No.5b ) being
the first house of the Little gate of this Hospital Faceing Fleet ditch , And he now
Varied his Proposal as followsTo take a Lease for 21 years from Lady day
next determinable at the end of the first 14 year on 6 Months Previous Notice
in Whiting on eithersideAnd to pay £18. P Ann rent clear of Taxes quarterly at
the Compting house of the said HospitalAnd to put the premes in good repair
under the Inspection fo the Hospitals Surveyor, The Governors Allowing him
£30. out of his rentThe Lease to contain the Usual Covenants
between the Governors and their Tenants in the said Precinct And a [..]
that he or the Tenant or Occupyer of the said Messuage or Tenement from
time to time will Serve the Office of Chappel warden of the said Precinct when
Elected thereto in the Usual manner And will pay to the Chappelwardens of
the said Hospital and Precinct for the time being all such Sums of Money
as at the Usual Meeting comonly called Vestry Meetings of the said
Chappel wardens and Inhabitants of the said Hopspital and Precinct
shall from time to time be rated or Assessed upon the Occupyer of the sd
Premisses in Equal Proportion with the rest of the Tenants or Occupyers of the
Messuages or Tenements in the said Precinct towards the Charge of the
Scavenger, Watch and Poor of the said PrecinctAnd this Comittee having
considered the said Proposal are of Opinion to Accept the sameAll
which is Nevertheless Submitted to the Judgment of the CourtThis Court
haveing duly weighed and Considered the said Report doth confirm the
same And Order That a Lease be made to the sd. Wm. Barnes Accordingly
